| Mentoring Programme |
|
The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship is not just a financial support system, but takes that extra step
to nurture professional growth and ensure that selected students achieve excellence in their chosen fields.
At the Foundation we believe that our responsibility to our scholars does not end with selection, but continues through their studies and professional life. A unique feature of the scholarship programme therefore is the mentoring process built into it, through which we aim to nurture a group of young professionals and groom them to become leaders and entrepreneurs in their field.
Each of the selected scholars is assigned a mentor to guide them in their development as professionals, and motivate them to strive for excellence, together with a keen sense of values and ethics. We expect that in the long run, those we mentor will take on the role of mentoring the next generation of scholars.
Through our mentoring programme we propose to create a community of scholars, where every member can draw on each other’s strength and tap each other’s knowledge.
