Educational scholarship student - Jayant-Rane
Jayant Rane : An MBBS from the Grant Medical College and Sir J J Group of Hospitals, Jayant hails from Kheroda village in Jalgaon District. His keen interest in the field of stem cell research has led him to pursue a M Res in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells at the University of Bath. He plans to specialize in the application of stem cell research in diabetes, and wants to do his Ph.D before returning to India.
   
Educational scholarship student - Sumeet-Katariya
Sumeet Katariya : Selected for the Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship in 2007, Sumeet deferred his plans for Graduate studies by a year as he wished to work and train at an R&D startup here. A B Tech in Electronics & Telecommunications from the College of Engineering, Pune, he has joined the University of Wisconsin Madison for a Masters in Electrical Engineering
   
Educational scholarship student - Ankeeth-Ved
Ankeeth Ved : A B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Calicut, Ankeeth worked with Tata Motors, where he was involved with problems faced while developing the Nano engine. Interested in fuel cell technology, he is admitted to the M S programme in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
   
Educational scholarship student - Roshan-Sumbaly
Roshan Sumbaly : A BE (Hons) in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, Goa Campus, he combined his undergraduate studies with research internships at BARC, IISc Bangalore, and HP Labs, Bangalore. He has now joined the M S Computer Science programme at Stanford University.
   
Educational scholarship student - Aditya-Singh
Aditya Singh : A B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Guwahati, Aditya has joined the Masters programme in Financial Mathematics at Stanford University. After some work experience he plans to do an MBA.
   
Educational scholarship student - Charu-Gupta
Charu Gupta : During her MBBS studies at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, Charu had the opportunity to represent India at an International Meeting of Young Scientists with Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany. She is currently doing her MPH in Public Health Management and Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health.
   
Educational scholarship student - Vidya-Sukumar
Vidya Sukumar : A trained Bharat Natyam dancer, Vidya is interested in the field of instrumentation and control in which she completed the BE course from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi. She is admitted to the Georgia Institute of Technology for an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Bioengineering.
   
Educational scholarship student - Devang-Mundhra
Devang Mundhra : A BE (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, he has been admitted to the MS programme in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Biomedical Engineering at Stanford University, with a fellowship for the first year. He plans to work on applications that have usefulness for a large number of people, such as medical imaging, bio-instrumentation, and cardiovascular engineering to name a few.
   
Educational scholarship student - Anupriya
Anupriya : A BA Economics (Honours) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Anupriya went on to pursue the M Sc course in Finance and Economics at the London School of Economics, on a full scholarship. She is currently working on a World Bank-EBRD project.
   
Educational scholarship student - Kushal-Bahl
Kushal Bahl : A B Tech in Polymer Engineering & Technology from the UICT, Kushal has joined the MS course in Polymer Engineering at the University of Akron. He is interested in polymer processing involving analysis and design of various processing operations; and in polymeric materials engineering. He plans to do an MBA later on.
   
Educational scholarship student - Akshat-Rathi
Akshat Rathi : While a student of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Technology at the UICT, Akshat did a summer internship at the University of Sheffield in 2007, and has now joined the University of Oxford for an M Sc / Ph D in Organic Chemistry. His research interests lie in the field of natural product synthesis and development of new methodologies.
   
Educational scholarship student - Raunak-Singh
Raunak Singh : A B E in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Raunak worked with Mahindra & Mahindra as a Trainee Engineer in Manufacturing and Supply Management. He wishes to specialize in Supply Chain Management during his MS in Industrial Engineering at Columbia University.
   
Educational scholarship student - Bharan-Giridhar
Bharan Giridhar : A B Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Bharan has worked as Design Engineer with Texas Instruments. He has joined the University of Michigan Ann Arbor for an MS in Electrical Engineering.
   
Educational scholarship student - Treta-Purohit
Treta Purohit : She completed her MBBS in 2006, followed by internship, after which she has been a part of the professional team on the Lifeline Express, which experience made her realize the importance of preventing disease. She has joined the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University for an MPH in Epidemiology, specializing in Maternal and Reproductive Health and / or HIV / AIDS.
   
Educational scholarship student - Gaurav-Dubey
Gaurav Dubey : After a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Gaurav joined ITC Ltd. He claims that the opportunity he had of working in Munger made him understand the person he wants to be, and made him “think of ways to enhance employment opportunities and increase the disposable income of the poor thereby allowing them to lead lives of dignity and choice”. He has now taken admission to the Harvard Business School for an MBA ( General Management ), and wants to use his MBA education as a ‘learning pedestal’ in social entrepreneurship and non-profit management.
